Pause in writing - off to the UK

I’m off to the UK for a couple of months, escaping the worst season in Mali. I won’t have access to the internet for most of my time there, so posting will be intermittent. I will try and post as and when I can. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all regular readers of my feed, and to say a special thank you to those who have written personally to me or on the blog to say how much they appreciate the blog.
